Luxury in the Centre of Varenna!
Varenna's apartments or houses don't come in many better locations than 'Casa Varenna'. This newly refurbished town house (open 6th March 2010) is located in the centre of the old town only 30m from the lake front. Varenna has some of the best small restaurants, trattoria's & pizzerias on the Lake, most of which are found in these rustic cobbled streets dating back to Roman times and only a minutes’ walk away. Casa Varenna is also 100m from the main square and only a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal, following the lake side path. Anybody who knows Varenna, will appreciate the combination of charm and town accessibility, via road, ferry and the railway station. This allows those who do not wish to hire a car, to arrive by boat or train. Without a car however, the need to stay central is greatly increased, as Lake Como is surrounded by steep hillsides.
